As of Friday August 27th, 2010 Constable Amy Phillipo will no longer be the media officer for the London Police Service and will be replaced on Monday August 30th by Constable Dennis Rivest. As of Friday August 27th at 3 pm the email account for the media officer and relief media officer's will be the following; mediaofficer@police.london.ca. We request that media enquiries not be sent to aphillipo@police.london.ca as this address will no longer be operational as an email for media outlets to contact the media officer. It's been a pleasure being the London Police Service's media officer for the past three years and working with all of you!

Two males are in custody as a result of a fight at Dundas Street and Maitland Street this morning.
On Thursday, September 22, 2011, at approximately 11:55 a.m. police responded to a disturbance in the area of Dundas Street and Maitland Street. When police arrived on scene, there was a large crowd and a fight in progress.
Police used a Conducted Energy Weapon (also known as a Taser) to gain control of one of the males involved in the altercation. This male is in custody and currently at the hospital for assessment of injuries sustained in the fight.
Police also have a second male in custody at Police Headquarters.
The investigation is continuing and further information will be made available at a later time.
