Supporting Troops

Not just our troops...the Americans or any Coalition force. I support every human being to find Peace. I got some over here. Didn't take a war to get that way. No one died for me to find peace. I just did. I could loose it at any second. I have that power. The ability to be what I am not. To act, to stretch, to do for the outside. Awful things have happened. But we can change that. Forgiveness eliminates wars caused by buried prejudices or hurts. I'm not saying it's simple. I'm just saying; Me and My Peace...are sick of all this war. We Need some REAL Change! Who are we helping here...

Emma-Lee Remix Me

Meet Me Again is a quick slideshow video I made to give me a means to post the song I remixed for Emma-Lee. You can hear the original song Until We Meet Again on her Myspace. Isn't she wonderful? Her voice changes me =). So did Heath in Batman! Obama...not so much change...yet.

Me, Myself and my AMHA...

I have learned that my path is to be riddled with suspicion. I learned the hard way quite often when I was young but I greatly appreciate the experience now through hind-sight. With what I have learned I can apply it to what I am going to learn in the next time I have allotted. The space I choose to occupy will be labeled.

I chatted with three lovely tourist women at Nepean's point two days ago. They spoke to me after I explained the trip about what was in it for me. I feel one of them thought it disgusting that I would fund a trip through such a charity. I felt it too. That would be gross!

Holy crap that's not what I'm doing. But people will think what they want. I assure you in the end it will look like I changed the world conspiring to make it better for myself...WTF is wrong with that? I intend to hurt no being. And wish only to do what I have the capacity to do. This trip is that.

I have spoken of synchronicity before and I cannot deny that I want to travel across Canada, so perhaps my desire to better myself is tainted and I'm seemingly going to use a lot of people to get what I want...I'm sorry.

AMHA - My Alterior Motives & Hidden Agendas are open for debate at any time. I am not what I seem. Until you see your true self you will only see me as more of what you need to entice your acceptance of your own perfection. Cut me up, if it helps you.

Please don't cut me if it doesn't help me.

Much Love

Cheers to Max Keeping his promise

Being Change Episode 5 on Youtube

I had slept in the Car and my shirt I intended to wear was all messy so I found this Radiohead shirt in my trunk that I bought at a Garage sale for 25cents. It Says;
Front: we hope that you choke! RADIOHEAD
Back: Phew!
Thinking its probably a bad message...it broke the ice as we sat down. Max Keeping attended a Radiohead concert here in Ottawa when they played at Barrymores...I was amazed, they are way too big for that now! WE Both Love Radiohead!

On July 28th, a Tuesday, I arrived at CTV News Headquarters in Ottawa. 8:45 for my 9 o'clock with Max Keeping, the Chief for the 6pm news report. I greeted the lovely receptionist as usual and told her I was there for my interview with Max. "His assistant will be in shortly". I asked if I could film a bit of the lobby. She replied; "Oh yes, he should be here just about 9".

I did not care that she heard me incorrectly, I was already rolling. "Here we go again...You can't take Pictures Sir". Shut it off. "Pardon"?

I was told. I am not allowed to film. I asked why. You are just not allowed. I stated there was no sign anywhere. Then turned to speak with the receptionist who was staring with her mouth agape. I think she felt, what I then spoke with her about, for him to be a bit aggressive. I have no reason to fear this man yelling at me. We are all equal and his admitted fear of me filming is senseless. What am I going to do? LOL, This is a TV Station...C'MON! I'm not a spy or a terrorist!

OK, so I get a tap on my shoulder while standing at the desk. "See, I remember you!" showing me the Global Love Day Card and some movie invites I gave him last time, all stapled together. "Great! You remember me! That's awesome, you have no idea how much I appreciate that!" as I follow him back to his room. I failed to guess that they would then obviously know I am here about 911. No matter.

Max showed up just as I was shaking hands with his assistant. Max had called when I was waiting. The receptionist seemed mildly shocked that he wanted to talk to Mr. Security. LOL, they chatted for at least 3 minutes after the door was closed. Maybe they talk everyday like that.

Max walked me into the Cafeteria and said "Let me buy you a coffee". He waved the guy behind the counter and I'm sure that took care of it. The receptionist had given to me a coupon;

This coupon entitles you to a complimentary beverage in our cafeteria.
Auction started yesterday, bidding currently at $5 as of Aug 3. I guessed that this was for me to keep.

I had asked if I could film on our way through the doors...he said "First tell me what this is about"...then the coffee...I said "This is about you". Still no on the filming, I asked for audio...still "What is this really about". I did not lie and keep filming. Although I have no problem doing that. I am filmed all the time without my permission. I was surely being taped right then.

I began to ask him because we had limited time and I was not going to be able to have him express his perfect nature before telling him how he can grow on it, about Richard Gage. I stated he had been on local news stations in the US. He was an architect. I can spit this stuff real fast now that I been doing it 105 days. Nothing.

I then talked about the petition I had read about only the night before NYCCAN.org. The news of a possible referendum on 911 sparked something. I then told him 70,000 people made it happen. He wrote it down. Said something about promises. I told him this was an interview and not really a news tipoff, however I kept going.

I got into Nano-Thermite he wrote it down. Then spoke again about Richard Gage, this time he wrote 727 arch's and eng's and the site. I then spoke of my affiliation with Ottawa911Truth.com, the recent events and my personal pride to be with such amazing people. He wrote it. Short hand.

So 4 Things..with intention to look into Neils Harrit and the Nano-Thermite, he had a nice list.

"Max Keeping, report to the News Office" was announced at 9:15. I was scheduled for 20 minutes. He said "Someone is attending a Funeral and I have to fill in". So that was it. He was all over me about weather I write or where I will be going. I told him I am thankful for his compliments and I will go where it takes me.

I have to admit. I have not tuned in to see if he is reporting on it. I hope his assistant would send me an email.

I intend to follow up before or after the trip. Anyone in between would be great. You would get your own coffee coupon for the attempt.

Peace

Heros of Truth

A serving soldier from York has appeared before a court martial after refusing to return to Afghanistan.

L/Cpl Joe Glenton, 27, of the Royal Logistic Corps, faced the preliminary hearing at a martial court in Wiltshire accused of desertion.

The soldier did not enter a formal plea but his defence counsel Hugh O'Donoghue indicated he would deny the charge.

On Thursday L/Cpl Glenton gave a letter to the prime minister calling for troops in Afghanistan to be withdrawn.

In his letter he claimed the war in Afghanistan is being fought in the interests of US foreign policy.

Expert witnesses

Having joined the Army in 2004, he went Awol in 2007 before handing himself in after two years and six days.

He has been on leave until today when he returned to his regiment.

Mr O'Donoghue told the court that he may call an expert witness to give evidence on the lawfulness of war in Afghanistan.

Military prosecutor Captain Gemma Sayer said she would also be calling witnesses, mostly sergeants, who are currently serving in Afghanistan and Kuwait.

The prosecutor said they were also considering an additional charge connected to the alleged desertion and that L/Cpl Glenton would be interviewed by military police.

Judge Advocate Alastair McGrigor adjourned the case to 4 September for another preliminary hearing.

L/Cpl Glenton will now return to normal duties with his regiment at his base in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

MJFox making light...

Perhaps its the mass marketing of his book, but I have been seeing his face everywhere with the title of the book printed in nice childlike white crayon. I have a Man-crush, as of 5 minutes ago, on Micheal J Fox. I did love the guy for his part in making Back the Future 2...changed everything! However I have just gained a new respect for him. I joined his donation site to see what freebies I get and how close I could come to contacting him about the presumed allegation that he is the brother of Jeffrey Fox that was killed in the World Trade Center attack. I have yet to confirm this and have a feeling it would be a bit more known if MJF was talking about it. I wanted initially to meet him to confirm or deny this information and now desire to know him. He embodies the truth movement. Telling it like it is. Making light of the hard stuff in order to not let it become him. The below exerpt from his book is mesmerizing. Can you feel what it is like to be him? I can. He wants to be himself, beautifully so. Even with his struggle. I know he is bound for great things in the NOW. Thanks Foxy Man!

Here is an exerpt from his new book:

Always Looking Up

The Adventures of an Incurable Optimist

In the opening pages of Lucky Man, I described a morning in Florida nineteen years ago when I woke up with a hangover and a twitching left pinky finger. In the intervening years, my life has seen many changes. Most mornings, for example, I awake to find my left pinky finger perfectly still—it’s the rest of my body that’s shaking uncontrollably. Technically, my body is only fully at peace when my mind is completely at rest—that is, asleep. Low brain activity means fewer neurons firing, or in my case, misfiring. As I awaken, before my conscious mind really knows what’s happening, my body has already gotten the news in the form of insistent neural instructions to twist, twitch, and contort. Any chance of slipping back into sleep is lost.

This morning Tracy is already up, dealing out breakfasts and readying the kids for school. I blindly fumble a plastic vial from the nightstand, dry-swallow a couple of pills, and then fall immediately into the first series of actions that, while largely automatic, demand a practiced determination. I swing my legs around to the side of the bed, and the instant my feet hit the floor, the two of them are in an argument. A condition called “dystonia,” a regular complement to Parkinson’s, cramps my feet severely and curls them inward, pressing my ankles toward the floor and the soles of my feet toward each other as though they were about to close together in prayer. I snake my right foot out toward the edge of the rug and toe-hook one of my hard leather loafers. I force my foot into the shoe, repeat the process with the left, and then cautiously stand up. Chastened by the unyielding confines of the leather, my feet begin to behave themselves. The spasms have stopped, but the aching will persist for the next twenty minutes or so.

First stop: the bathroom. I’ll spare you the initial details of my visit, except to say that with PD, it is essential to put the seat up. Grasping the toothpaste is nothing compared to the effort it takes to coordinate the two-handed task of wrangling the toothbrush and strangling out a line of paste onto the bristles. By now, my right hand has started up again, rotating at the wrist in a circular motion, perfect for what I’m about to do. My left hand guides my right hand up to my mouth, and once the back of the Oral-B touches the inside of my upper lip, I let go. It’s like releasing the tension on a slingshot and compares favorably to the most powerful state-of-the-art electric toothbrush on the market. With no off switch, stopping means seizing my right wrist with my left hand, forcing it down to the sink basin, and shaking the brush loose as though disarming a knife-wielding attacker. I can usually tell whether shaving is a good idea on any particular day, and this morning, like most, I decide it’s too early to risk bloodshed. I opt for a quick pass with an electric stubble trimmer. Miami Vice lives.

A bench in the shower takes the pressure off my feet, and the steady drumbeat of the water on my back has a therapeutic effect, though if I sit here much longer, I might never get up. Getting dressed is made easier by the pills, which have begun to assert their influence. I avoid clothing with too many buttons or laces, although I’m still addicted to Levi’s 501s, making me a fashion victim in the truest sense of the word. In lieu of proper brushing, I raise my twitching fingers up to my hairline and, raking it back, hope for the best. Executing a slow shuffle (my legs haven’t yet earned my trust for the day), I make my way out to greet my family.

At the turn from our bedroom into the hallway, there is an old full-length mirror in a wooden frame. I can’t help but catch a glimpse of myself as I pass. Turning fully toward the glass, I consider what I see. This reflected version of myself, wet, shaking, rumpled, pinched, and slightly stooped, would be alarming were it not for the self-satisfied expression pasted across my face. I would ask the obvious question, “What are you smiling about?,” but I already know the answer: “It just gets better from here.”
...
How to Lose Your Brain Without Losing Your Mind—that was my original title for the memoir written eight years ago. On the second or third page of the earliest draft, I made reference to myself as being a “lucky man.” After a few edits, I kept going back to those two words, and eventually they found their way onto the cover of the book. They fit then, and they still do now.

As the title for this new book, Always Looking Up works on a couple of levels. First off—let’s just get this one out of the way—it’s a short joke. At a fraction of an inch under five-foot-five, much of my interaction with the world and the people in it has required that I tilt my head backward and direct my gaze upward. However, this isn’t a manifesto about the hardships of the vertically challenged. Frankly, my height or lack thereof never bothered me much. Although there’s no doubt that it’s contributed to a certain mental toughness. I’ve made the most of the head start one gains from being underestimated. And that’s more to the point of it—Always Looking Up alludes to an emotional, psychological, intellectual, and spiritual outlook that has served me throughout my life and, perhaps, even saved me throughout my life with Parkinson’s. It’s not that I don’t feel the aching pain of loss. Physical strength, spontaneity, physical balance, manual dexterity, the freedom to do the work I want to do when I want to do it, the confidence that I can always be there for my family when they need me—all of these have been, if not completely lost to Parkinson’s, at least drastically compromised.

The last ten years of my life, which is really the stuff of this book, began with such a loss: my retirement from Spin City. I found myself struggling with a strange new dynamic: the shifting of public and private personas. I had been Mike the actor, then Mike the actor with PD. Now was I just Mike with PD? Parkinson’s had consumed my career and, in a sense, had become my career. But where did all of this leave me? I had to build a new life when I was already pretty happy with the old one. I’d been blessed with a twenty-five-year career in a job that I loved. I had a brilliant, beautiful, funny, supportive wife and an expanding brood of irrepressible kids. If I had to give up any part of this, how could I possibly protect myself from losing all of it?

The answer had very little to do with “protection” and everything to do with perspective. The only unavailable choice was whether or not to have Parkinson’s. Everything else was up to me. I could concentrate on the loss—rush in with whatever stopgap measures my ego could manufacture. I could rely on my old friend from the nineties, denial. Or I could just get on with my life and see if maybe those holes started filling in themselves. Over the last ten years, they have, in the most amazing ways.

What follows is a memoir of this last decade. But unlike Lucky Man, it is thematic rather than chronological. Work, Politics, Faith, and Family. These are the struts of my existence. These are the critical supports of my life.

Together they form a bulwark against the ravages of Parkinson’s disease. My identity has so much to do with my ability to self-express, to assert my creativity and productive worth (work), my rights and the rights of whatever communities I’m a part of and therefore responsible to (politics), my freedom to seek spiritual purpose (faith) and to explore the complex bonds I share with those I love most (family) and without whom I would have long since succumbed to darker forces.

While not a strict narrative, Always Looking Up describes a journey of self-discovery and reinvention. The story is a testament to the consolations that get me through and give meaning to every area of my life.

For everything this disease has taken, something with greater value has been given—sometimes just a marker that points me in a new direction that I might not otherwise have traveled. So, sure, it may be one step forward and two steps back, but after a time with Parkinson’s, I’ve learned that what is important is making that one step count; always looking up.

I Love FreeMasons!

Charlie Chaplin was a Freemason. Or that's what countless conspiracies say. We all know I'm just a guy who knows 911 was not what it seems. I only know that for sure. My KFS. Do you have a KFS?

So I don't know that Charlie C was just that, a freemason. However I have been researching the codes and standards of the freemasons and have learned of a group of over 53,000 Ontarians alone who meet as a society based on these principles (paraphrased): Not a religion, respect all faiths and encouraged, love neighbors and community, serve, be good always, no compromise!

Ottawa District 1 webpage
“Freemasonry is the oldest and largest world wide fraternity dedicated to the Brotherhood of Man under the Fatherhood of a Supreme Being. Although of a religious nature, Freemasonry is not a religion. It urges its members, however, to be faithful and devoted to their own religious beliefs.

In our Province the governing body is called the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Canada in the Province of Ontario. It is under the leadership of the Grand Master. He presides over the 53,000 Masons who belong to one or more of the 571 lodges in our jurisdiction. Each of these lodges is under the direction of a Worshipful Master.

Any man who becomes a Mason is taught a pattern for living; reverence - morality - kindness - honesty - dependability and compassion. He must be prepared to honour his country, uphold its laws and respect those in authority. He must be prepared to maintain honourable relations with others and be willing to share in Masonic activities. Freemasonry is a way of life.”

I am not allowed to join nor do I think I am really the kind of person to join any faction outside of the family I was born into or the earth I stand on. Plus I think God is a Woman. However, the principles seem to me to be quite honorable...I do not know why I keep hearing about the freemasons within so very much of the conspiracy research I am being presented lately, with regards to those that support a new 911 investigation. BTW, big petition in NYC to get a referendum for Nov 3 toward a new investigation!

NYCCAN.org

The quote by Edmund Burke [The Only Thing Necessary For Evil To Succeed, is that Good Men Do Nothing] that practically got me into all of this about 911, perhaps could be paralleled with what I read on the website; "Making Good Men Better". If we got so many good men in the faction, perhaps I should ask them to join the truth movement. My first action day @ the Guy show, way back when...I met a man...asked him if he knew about 911, and he showed me his ring. A freemason ring, said he knew. I asked what he meant...he just said we know. Wow I said, you all know, are you doing anything? He said Yeah, don't worry. I said Awesome! Then the guy got invited on stage to compete for the hairiest back. Wonderful Man! 5 or 6 kids...I can't remember now.

I won a free CD on Virgin Radio, which I am putting out a video about soon. Gonzo said I was a winner, I replied I was a truther too. What is a Truther? Well Gonzo...I tell only the truth and ask people about 911, if they don't know I tell them. That's it. Matt, are you an Illuminati? No. Are you Skull and Bones? Noo! Are you a Freemason? Heck no, I am just me, not part of any group except the truthers as of late. Why the name-calling?

I am tortured in only one way in my life...by the people who always fall to pointing the finger. That is not our job. It's too soon to point fingers. It is never too late to simply discuss what is or even what only might be going on. Everything is OK. There are good people everywhere. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty...at least in my mind. They are starting more and more to speak their own truths. To stand up and come forward. It is impossible for me alone to measure the differences being made even at this moment in time, toward Satyagraha.

Namaste, Love, Kisses for Bullets...wicked trade!
Peace
